Provider scoring methodology

The detailed scoring rubric for telehealth providers, including points available per criterion and the missing-information rule.

Category detail

Each of the six categories in our methodology breaks into named criteria with points available and points awarded. Clinical safety (25 points) covers licensed review, eligibility screening, follow-up access, laboratory process, adverse-event handling, emergency limitations and clear contraindications. Pharmacy (20 points) covers pharmacy identification, independent license verification, 503A/503B accuracy, disclosed concentration and formulation, and the absence of misleading FDA-approval claims.

Missing-information rule

A provider does not receive full points when material information cannot be verified. We record each fact as Verified, Partially verified, Provider-reported, Not disclosed, Contradicted or Outdated.
