Medical review policy
How clinical content is reviewed, by whom, and against which sources.
Who reviews what
Clinical-workflow and patient-care content is reviewed by Kim Callender, FNP-BC. Physician-level medical claims are currently reviewed by our clinical review lead pending appointment of a named physician reviewer; where a page carries no named physician reviewer, it says so in the byline rather than implying one. Evidence synthesis is led by our medical researcher. Each page names its researcher and reviewer.
Source standard
Clinical claims are sourced to FDA labeling, primary clinical trials, and recognized guidelines — never to competitor blogs. See source standards.
Review cadence
Clinical pages are reviewed every 90–180 days and immediately after material FDA action.
How the dates on this page work. Manufacturer self-pay prices — NovoCare and LillyDirect — were re-read on the manufacturers’ own published price guides on 4 August 2026. Figures captured from third-party provider websites carry the date we read that provider’s page, which may be earlier; where it is, the row says so. We do not restamp a figure we have not re-read.
